For Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, that means practicing yoga.
“A lot of flexibility’s helping with those injuries as you get older,” Rodgers told ESPN.com.
Rodgers also added that he is down 11 pounds this offseason, which should help his movement in and out of the pocket.
The veteran pivot suffered a broken collarbone last year that cost him seven games, and although he returned for the season finale and Green Bay’s subsequent playoff game, the injury altered the start of his offseason training.
“I just had to rest and get into my routine when I did,” he said. “There were some things I shied away from — some heavy lifting, especially shoulder stuff in the offseason — but I did my rehab and took it slow and feel good.”
