Awaken The World Through Enlightened Media

Maybe You’re the Problem? – Nikki Star Noce MD

by Nikki Star Noce: Get ready–because I’m gonna be pretty blunt in this post. All from a space of love (of by)…

Awaken

All because I believe in us living our greatest potential and a life we LOVE.

Most people are always blaming the others for everything that “happens” to them. It’s much easier to be the victim because then you don’t have to take responsibility.

As you already know (and like I’ve said a billion times), we create our lives with our thoughts, actions, reactions, choices and ways of being and relating with the world.
So what if you’re the problem?

Many clients tend to find me when they’ve reached two points…
Either
1. Life is really challenging, frustrating, depressing or boring and they don’t know what to do.
Or
2. They realize they’re the problem in their life and would like help to change this.

The first scenario eventually becomes the second.

Then there’s the beautiful moment when THE epiphany happens. Usually it’s when you just can’t take it anymore. You realize that YOU are the common denominator in the situations. Three relationships failed for the same reason. Three different bosses in a row “making you” feel frustrated. Same script, Different cast. Same leading star–YOU.

Get my drift?

Some people may not even realize they’re the problem. Not a problem in a bad way, but in the way that there’s a solution.

Much of my way of guiding and coaching people is to help enhance their self-awareness.

The moment we become mindful and present to every part of our being–mind, body, spirit, emotions, thoughts, feelings, reactions, etc.–we then have the power to change them and create new life experiences.

Spirituality is about self-awareness. Spirituality is also about embodying love and compassion, which enhances all of our relations. It’s not about how many hours we can meditate or the cool yoga postures. Rather, in the thick of life interactions, how are you reacting?

Working with a therapist can be helpful, or not. Talking about a problem doesn’t fix it.

Working with a spiritual coach (like me, or another you’re drawn to) who prescribes empowering tools and takes the role of a compassionate mirror, guiding you to discover the places within yourself that are asking for more attention, healing and love is when life really begins to change for the better.

There are many levels and layers to the process of self-development and realization. It’s actually a lifetime journey that never ends. And of course there are countless ways to reach the same goal of greater self-awareness. Beginning somewhere, anywhere, however, with just one simple tool, practice or action is KEY.

I’ll recommend this one to you–which you already know–MEDITATION.
Strengthen that observer within–the one who is aware of YOUrself.
Go to a studio, find resources online, or work with someone (like me).

Just get started, continue or begin the next step or practice. Wherever you are in the journey begin or continue. I promise your life will change and continue to enhance in proportion to how much you put into your process to greater self-awareness.
Even reading to the end of this post is an amazing step!
